ASEAN Club Championship Shopee Cup™ participants BG Pathum United FC delivered one of the standout performances of the weekend with a dominant 4–0 home victory over Uthai Thani FC in Thai League 1 on Saturday.

Yoshiaki Takagi set the tone with an early opener in the sixth minute before further goals by Georgian midfielder Nika Sandokhadze in the 13th minute and Ikhsan Fandi in the 24th minute gave the hosts a comfortable lead. Sandokhadze added a second late in the game as BG Pathum moved up to fifth on the table after 18 matches. 

Bangkok United FC also collected maximum points, edging past Chonburi FC 1–0 at home after Nebojša Kosović struck shortly after the restart in the 49th minute to settle a tight encounter. The result lifted Bangkok United to fourth position. 

Selangor FC book their place in the Malaysia Cup quarter-finals with a commanding 3–0 home victory over Kelantan TRW FC on Friday.

Faisal Halim opened the scoring in first-half stoppage time (45+3’) before Brazilian forward Chrigor Moraes struck twice after the break in the 66th and 90th minutes, as the Red Giants were rarely troubled in a controlled display to complete a 5-1 aggregate win.

Johor Darul Ta'zim FC also advanced with ease, completing an emphatic 11–1 aggregate victory over PDRM FC following a 1–0 win in the second leg.

Teto Martín scored the only goal in the 66th minute, as JDT dictated proceedings to secure their passage into the last eight.

In the Singapore Premier League, Lion City Sailors FC maintained their perfect start to the season with a commanding 5–1 away victory over Hougang United FC on Saturday.

After Settaut Wongsai had given the hosts an early lead in the 11th minute, the Sailors responded emphatically through Shawal Anuar (18’), an own goal by Muhammad Ryaan Sanizal (27’) and Lennart Thy (32’) before the break. 

Bart Ramselaar added further goals in the 66th and 72nd minutes to underline a dominant performance that kept the champions top of the standings with a 100 percent record.

Tampines Rovers FC also enjoyed success on the road, recording a 3–1 victory over Geylang International FC to remain second in the standings.

An own goal from Nikola Ignjatović in the 20th minute handed Tampines the advantage before Ryoya Taniguchi levelled in the 74th, but Trent Buhagiar struck twice after the interval in the 55th and 59th minutes to seal all three points for the visitors.

In Myanmar’s National League, Shan United FC recorded a valuable 3–1 away victory over Dagon FC to stay firmly in the title race.

Bo Hlaing Bo opened the scoring in the 39th minute before Sa Aung Pyae Ko doubled the lead shortly after the restart in the 52nd minute. Although Saun Lam Mang pulled one back for Dagon in the 49th, Lin Htet Soe struck deep into stoppage time (90+5’) to seal the win as Shan United remained second in the standings.
