The ASEAN Club Championship Shopee Cup™ returns for a second edition in August bringing even greater action and excitement to the regional stage as the best clubs from Southeast Asia face off for the right to be crowned the 2025/26 ASEAN Club Champions.

Following their thrilling victory over Công An Hà Nội FC of Vietnam in the 2024/25 Shopee Cup™ final, Buriram United of Thailand are back to defend their title in the second edition of the competition which features 14 top clubs from nine ASEAN countries.

The season kicks off with the qualifying round play-offs in August and concludes with the final in May 2026.

Shopee Cup™ 2025/26 Tournament Format

The tournament format for this season’s Shopee Cup™ includes qualifying round play-offs, a group stage and a knock-out stage consisting of semi-finals and the final.

Shopee Cup™ Season 2025/26 Participating Clubs

The Shopee Cup™ features the national league champions and designated Cup winners (or runners-up in certain instances) of Malaysia, Singapore Thailand and Vietnam (two teams each), and Cambodia (one team). The national league champions of Brunei, Laos, Myanmar and the Philippines will compete in Qualifying Round Play-Offs for two places in the Shopee Cup™ Group Stage.  The Shopee Cup™ defending champions automatically qualify.
