Singapore, November 3: The ASEAN Club Championship Shopee Cup™ Trophy Tour will make its first stop of the 2025/26 season in Singapore on November 8 and 9, with a weekend of football festivities planned at Festival Walk East and Town Square (only on November 8) in Our Tampines Hub (OTH) from 11am onwards.
The Shopee Cup™ Trophy, handcrafted by world-renowned silversmiths Thomas Lyte, will be on display at Festive Walk East throughout the two days, offering fans an opportunity to view and take photos with the iconic trophy that was lifted by reigning ASEAN club champions Buriram United FC in May this year.
Fans will also have the chance to meet four of Singapore’s biggest football stars and national team members who are leading their respective clubs at this season’s Shopee Cup™. Hariss Harun and Safuwan Baharudin of Lion City Sailors FC, and Faris Ramli and Jacob Mahler of Tampines Rovers FC will appear in a special Meet & Greet session at Festive Walk East on Saturday, November 8, from 2pm to 3pm.
Throughout the Shopee Cup™ Trophy Tour weekend, visitors will enjoy a variety of activities at Festive Walk East, including interactive games Football Duet, Header Challenge and Photobooth experiences (available only on November 8). A jersey display will showcase kits from all 12 clubs competing in the Shopee Cup™ 2025/26 season. The day will conclude with a Lucky Draw on Saturday at 7:15pm, with special prizes being offered by title partners Shopee, presenting partners MSIG and Official Performance Partner adidas.
At Town Square, activities will begin from 3pm on Saturday and feature a Football Clinic conducted by professional coaches from Singapore, bouncy castles for children and a range of family-friendly carnival games such as Markers Flip, Tic-Tac-Toe and other station games designed to entertain fans of all ages.
Following the Singapore stop, the Shopee Cup™ Trophy Tour will continue its journey to Vietnam on January 10, before heading to Thailand and Malaysia, with the exact dates for those stops to be announced at a later date.
Featuring the region’s top clubs, the Shopee Cup™ showcases the best of ASEAN club football. The group stage kicked off on August 20, with 12 leading clubs from around Southeast Asia competing to be crowned ASEAN club champions.
Group stage matches will be played on a home-or-away basis and run until February 5, with the semi-final and final to be played across two legs from May 6 to 27, 2026.
After two matchdays, Tampines Rovers currently occupy third position in Group A following a win and a loss, while Lion City Sailors are fourth in Group B following an opening defeat in one match played so far.
