In the Singapore Premier League, Lion City Sailors FC were held to a dramatic 3–3 draw by Albirex Niigata (S) on Friday.

Tsiy William Ndenge gave the Sailors the lead in the 54th minute, but Komei Lida levelled in the 66th minute after an earlier own goal from Hariss Harun had handed Albirex the advantage.
