ASEAN Club Championship Shopee Cup™ title holders Buriram United FC strengthened their grip on the top spot in Thai League 1 with a commanding 3–0 victory over Nakhon Ratchasima FC on Friday.
Suphanat Mueanta gave the visitors the lead in the 12th minute before Sasalak Haiprakhon doubled the advantage in the 37th minute. Rubén Sánchez added a third in the 60th minute to seal another comfortable win for the Thai champions.
Elsewhere in Thailand, 2025/26 Shopee Cup™ participants BG Pathum United FC suffered a 3–2 defeat to Chonburi FC.
Raniel opened the scoring in the 19th minute for the hosts, but Jefferson Tabinas equalised in the 33rd minute before Channarong Promsrikaew put Chonburi ahead in the 57th minute.
Santipharp Chan-ngom extended the lead in the 75th minute and, although Ekanit Panya pulled one back in stoppage time, BG Pathum United were unable to complete a comeback.
In Vietnam’s V.League 1, Hà Nội FC recorded an impressive 2–1 victory over Công An Hà Nội FC.
Hendrio put Hà Nội in front in the 27th minute and doubled the lead with a penalty in the 74th minute, while Léo Artur pulled a goal back deep into stoppage time for the visitors.
Elsewhere in Vietnam, Nam Định FC claimed a dramatic 1–0 victory over PVF-CAND.
With the match heading for a draw, Lucas Alves struck in the 90th minute to secure all three points for Nam Định.
In the Malaysia Super League, Selangor FC cruised to a 4–0 victory over Immigration FC.
Chrigor Moraes hit the opener in the 29th minute, before Zikri Khalili doubled his side’s advantage in first-half stoppage time. Chrigor scored his second in the 79th minute while Vítor Pernambuco completed the scoring in stoppage time.
In the Cambodian Premier League Championship Round, PKR Svay Rieng FC were held to a 1–1 draw by Nagaworld FC.
Connor Shields gave PKR Svay Rieng the lead in the 39th minute but Sos Suhana equalised in the 90th minute.
In Singapore, Lion City Sailors FC maintained their strong form in the Singapore Premier League with a 4–0 victory over Geylang International FC at Bishan Stadium.
Toni Datković scored the 27th minute give to Lion City the lead and Anderson Lopes doubled the advantage a minute later. Shawal Anuar added a third in the 71st minute before Datković struck again in the 79th minute.
Tampines Rovers FC also enjoyed a dominant evening as they thrashed Young Lions FC 5–0 at Jalan Besar Stadium.
Shuya Yamashita struck in the 14th minute while Hide Higashikawa doubled the advantage in the 39th minute. Glenn Kweh converted a penalty in first-half stoppage time before Koya Kazama and Zikos Chua added further goals after the break.
Meanwhile in Myanmar’s National League, Shan United FC produced a dominant display as they swept aside Yarmanya United FC 5–0.
Moussa Bakayoko put Shan United ahead in the 33rd minute and Ye Yint Aung doubled the advantage three minutes later. Zin Hein Khun Kyaw added a third in the 56th minute, while Sa Aung Pyae Ko struck twice to complete the rout.
