The Shopee Cup™ 2025/26 group stage delivered no shortage of memorable performances, with several players standing out for the impact they made for their teams in key matches across the competition. Whether through goals, creativity, defensive contributions or all-round influence, these five players produced some of the most notable displays of the group stage. Who should be named Yanmar Most Energetic Player of the Group Stage?

Matchday 1: Chrigor Moraes (Selangor)

Chrigor posed Selangor’s biggest attacking threat in their Shopee Cup™ campaign opener against Buriram United, giving the visitors a direct outlet whenever they moved forward. The Brazilian striker came close early in the first half with a right-foot effort from distance before putting Selangor ahead seven minutes before half-time. Up against his former club, Chrigor’s decisive contribution helped Selangor earn a hard-fought 1-1 draw away from home.

Matchday 2: Patrick Robson (PKR Svay Rieng)

Patrick Robson was a dynamo on the left flank for PKR Svay Rieng in their meeting with Nam Định, leading the visitors’ response after they fell two goals behind before half-time. The forward continued to test the Vietnamese side after Nam Định were reduced to 10 men and eventually got his reward with a stunning strike from 25 yards that left the opposing keeper rooted to the spot as the ball flew into the top corner.

Matchday 3: Shane Lowry (Johor Darul Ta'zim)

Shane Lowry delivered at both ends of the pitch as Johor Darul Ta’zim drew 2-2 with PKR Svay Rieng in Phnom Penh. Calm in possession and solid at the back, the experienced centre-back helped JDT stay in the contest before making two decisive contributions in stoppage time, first powering a header in from Heberty’s corner and then heading the ball across goal for La’Vere Corbin-Ong to score the equaliser from close range, finishing the game with a goal and an assist.

Matchday 4: Caio César (Nam Định)

Midfielder Caio César played a prominent role in Nam Định’s 3-0 win over Lion City Sailors as the V.League 1 champions became the first team to qualify for the semi-finals. The Brazilian opened the scoring in the 35th minute and continued to make his presence felt down the left, supporting Nam Định’s build-up play and chipping in with key work off the ball as the hosts controlled much of the contest. His display helped extend the Vietnamese side’s perfect record in Group B.

Matchday 5: Theerathon Bunmathan (Buriram United)

In Buriram United’s 6-0 win over DH Cebu, Theerathon Bunmathan was an assured presence for the defending champions, linking play effectively and providing quality delivery from wide areas. The veteran full-back created the third goal with a precise pass from the left touchline for Kingsley Schindler to score, while also remaining reliable defensively as Buriram secured their place in the semi-finals.
