ASEAN Club Championship Shopee Cup™ contenders Johor Darul Ta’Zim FC maintained their flawless Malaysia Super League campaign with a 2–0 away victory over fellow Shopee Cup™ side Selangor FC on Saturday, as the champions extended their perfect season to 13 matches.

Ignacio Méndez struck in the seventh minute to give JDT an early advantage before Bérgson sealed the points deep into stoppage time, converting in the 90+2nd minute to keep his side clear at the summit on a maximum 39 points.

In the Cambodian Premier League, Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng FC suffered a rare home setback as they were beaten 2–1 by Visakha FC. 

Kriya Sareth had given the hosts the lead in the 19th minute, but Visakha responded through Lim Pisoth on 27 minutes before Jung-Bin Park completed the turnaround with a 30th-minute strike. 

Despite the defeat, Svay Rieng remain second in the standings on 31 points, two points behind leaders Phnom Penh Crown FC.

Meanwhile in Thai League 1, reigning Shopee Cup™ champions Buriram United FC were held to a 1–1 draw by PT Prachuap FC, ending the champions’ five-match winning streak. 

Peter Žulj gave Buriram United the lead shortly after the restart with a 46th-minute finish, but Tauã struck in the 78th minute to earn the hosts a share of the spoils as Buriram remain 12 points clear at the top of the table on 41 points.
