Nam Định FC continued their build-up to the ASEAN Club Championship Shopee Cup™ semi-final clash with Malaysia’s Selangor FC next month with a 2-1 victory over SHB Đà Nẵng in V.League 1.

Nguyễn Xuân Son gave the visitors the lead in the 21st minute before Chadras Akolo doubled the advantage just past the hour mark. Joel López pulled one back for Đà Nẵng in the 51st minute, but Nam Định held on to claim all three points.

League leaders Công An Hà Nội FC, meanwhile, delivered a dominant performance with a 3-0 win over Công An TP.HCM.

Lê Văn Đô opened the scoring in the 20th minute before Rogério Alves added a second in the 81st minute and Nguyễn Đình Bắc wrapped up the result four minutes later to maintain their advantage at the top of the table.

Bangkok United FC suffered a setback in Thai League 1 after falling to a 4-1 defeat against Ratchaburi FC.

Njiva Rakotoharimalala gave the visitors the lead in the third minute before Denilson Pereira doubled the advantage in the 15th minute. 

Richairo Živković pulled one back for Bangkok United in the 65th minute, but Pedro Dominguez Placeres struck twice late on, including a stoppage-time penalty, to seal the win for Ratchaburi.

BG Pathum United FC were also in action but were held to a goalless draw by Port FC, leaving them fourth in the standings while Port remain second behind already crowned champions Buriram United FC.

Selangor FC’s Malaysia Cup campaign came to an end after a 2-1 aggregate defeat to Kuching City FC in the semi-finals.

Following a first-leg draw, Kuching edged the return leg 1-0 with Petrus Shitembi scoring the decisive goal in the 30th minute to book their place in the final.

Tampines Rovers FC strengthened their position near the top of the Singapore Premier League with a 2-1 win over Balestier Khalsa FC.

Yuki Kobayashi struck in the seventh minute to hand Tampines Rovers an early lead before Seiya Sumi added a second late on. Daniel Goh pulled one back for Balestier in the 64th minute, but the hosts held firm to secure the victory.

DH Cebu FC were held to a 1-1 draw by Stallion Laguna FC in the Philippines Football League.

Aaron Vasquez gave Stallion Laguna the lead in the 13th minute before Abou Sy equalised four minutes later, with DH Cebu remaining in third place.

Shan United FC continued their strong run in the Myanmar National League with a 1-0 victory over Hantharwady United FC.

Myat Kaung Khant scored the only goal of the game in the 18th minute as Shan United maintained their position at the top of the table.
