ASEAN Club Championship Shopee Cup™ participants Selangor FC delivered the standout performance of the weekend with a commanding 5–2 away victory over Brunei DPMM FC in the Malaysia Super League on Friday, continuing a strong run of form for the Red Giants.

Brazilian forward Chrigor Moraes was the star of the show, striking four times in a ruthless display as Selangor raced clear in Bandar Seri Begawan. 

Chrigor opened the scoring in the fifth minute before adding further goals in the 10th, 58th and stoppage time, with Nooa Laine also on target shortly after the restart, as Selangor moved onto 28 points from 14 matches to remain in the top four.

Thai League 1 leaders Buriram United FC maintained their grip on the top spot with a narrow 1–0 away victory over Uthai Thani FC on Thursday, as Suphanat Mueanta struck the decisive goal in the seventh minute. 

Goalkeeper Neil Etheridge was named Player of the Match following a commanding display as the defending champions moved onto 44 points.

BG Pathum United FC were held to a 1–1 draw away to Lamphun Warrior FC on Friday with Ikhsan Fandi giving the visitors the lead in the 31st minute before Kenshiro Daniels struck a late equaliser. 

Bangkok United FC were forced to settle for a 1–1 home draw against Kanchanaburi Power FC in Thai League 1 on Friday, with Philipe Maia cancelling out Chayapipat Supunpasuch’s opener shortly after the break as Bangkok United stayed fifth.

Singapore Cup final action saw Lion City Sailors FC successfully retain the trophy with a 2–0 extra-time victory over Tampines Rovers FC at Jalan Besar Stadium on Saturday. 

After a stalemate at the end of regulation time, substitute Hami Syahin broke the deadlock in the 115th minute before Anderson Lopes added a second deep into stoppage time to secure the win. Aleksandar Ranković’s side lifted the Singapore Cup for a third consecutive season.

Malaysia Super League champions Johor Darul Ta’zim FC extended their perfect run with a dramatic 1–0 away victory over Negeri Sembilan FC on Thursday, as Óscar Arribas struck in the ninth minute of stoppage time.

Cambodian Premier League leaders PKR Svay Rieng FC strengthened their title push with a convincing 4–1 away victory over Life FC on Friday. Kwame Peprah struck twice, scoring in the 15th and 83rd minutes, with Patrick and Cristian Roque also on target.

Myanmar National League leaders Shan United FC were held to a goalless draw at home by Dagon Port FC on Saturday but remained top of the standings. The result moved Shan United onto 30 points from 12 matches, keeping them one point clear at the summit.
