Selangor FC delivered a ruthless attacking display to secure a 5–1 away victory over Penang FC on Saturday in the Malaysia Super League, with Chrigor Moraes hitting a hat-trick to headline another busy weekend for ASEAN Club Championship Shopee Cup™ contenders.

Faisal Halim and Picha Autra were also on the scoresheet as the Red Giants surged into a commanding first-half lead, before Moraes completed his treble in the 75th minute to cap a dominant performance on the road.

Buriram United FC came from behind to secure a 3–1 home victory over Kanchanaburi FC on Friday in Thai League 1 action, with the reigning champions striking three times in the final 20 minutes to remain on top of the current standings.

Goran Čaušić levelled the contest in the 72nd minute after Gerson Rodrigues had put the visitors ahead, before Robert Žulj fired Buriram in front in the first minute of stoppage time.

Narubadin Weerawatnodom then added a third late on as Kanchanaburi finished with 10 men following Amadou Kamara’s dismissal as Buriram United moved onto 34 points from 13 matches.

BG Pathum United FC also claimed maximum points with a hard-fought 1–0 win away at Nakhon Ratchasima FC on Saturday.

Tomoyuki Doi delivered the breakthrough in the 78th minute to secure a valuable victory and clean sheet for the visitors, who remain 12 points adrift of Buriram United in fifth.

Bangkok United FC were denied all three points in dramatic fashion after being held to a 1–1 draw by Chiangrai United FC on Saturday.

Teerasil Dangda appeared to have won the game for the home side when he struck in the 83rd minute, only for Victor Cardozo to equalise deep into stoppage time and leave Bangkok United in fourth.
