Matchday Four of the ASEAN Club Championship Shopee Cup™ produced 14 goals from six matches in Group A and B held across Southeast Asia on 22 and 23 January.

Vietnam’s Công An Hà Nội FC became the first side through to the semi-finals on the fourth matchday, but three spots will still be up for grabs when the final matchday in the group stage is held at the start of next month.

But before that, ASEAN United FC lets you, the fans, decide which of the six goals presented below deserves to become the goal of the round by voting for your favourite at the foot of the article.

Raniel (BG Pathum United)

BG Pathum United had to come back from behind to defeat Myanmar’s Shan United FC on the penultimate matchday and it was Raniel who gave them the 2-1 lead in the 79th minute. The Brazilian forward did well to bring a Waris Choolthong cross under his control before firing a powerful shot from 10 yards out to beat Shan goalkeeper Kyaw Zin Phyo at the near post to send the Rabbits on their way to a 4-1 victory.

Jesus Melliza (Kaya FC-Iloilo)

Kaya FC-Iloilo were close to claiming their first point in the Shopee Cup when they equalised late on against Indonesia’s Borneo FC Samarinda through Jesus Melliza. Sherwin Basindanan did well on the right wing to cross the ball towards the far post where Shuto Komaki waited for the ball. The Japanese winger played the ball back towards the edge of the box with a perfectly weighted pass for Melliza to make it 1-1 with a first-time strike in the 82nd minute.

Nguyen Quang Hai (Công An Hà Nội FC)

A brilliant first touch and an equally good finish from Nguyen Quang Hai gave Công An Hà Nội FC an early lead against Kuala Lumpur City FC on their away trip. Leo Artur played a long ball into the box for the Vietnam international to bring down before he struck a ferocious low drive past KL City goalkeeper Hafizul Hakim to make it 1-0 for Alexandre Polking’s side only 10 minutes after kick-off.

Nattawut Suksum (BG Pathum United)

Nattawut Suksum finished off a brilliant team move to pull BG Pathum United into a 3-1 lead against Shan United FC at Thuwunna Stadium on Wednesday. Nine minutes into second-half stoppage time, Gakuto Notsuda played a one-two with Sanchai Nonthasila on the left-hand side before making his way into the box and crossing towards the middle where 27-year-old Nattawut arrived to turn the ball home and send the Thai League 1 side to the top of Group A.

Dwiky Hardiansyah (Borneo FC Samarinda)

With time running out to put themselves back in contention for a semi-final berth following Kaya FC-Iloilo’s late equaliser, Dwiky Hardiansyah emerged as Borneo FC Samarinda’s hero with a 91st-minute winner. Stefano Lilipaly and Mariano Peralta led the Indonesian side’s quick break in stoppage time before the latter slipped the ball towards Dwiky, who arrived between two Kaya defenders before producing a fantastic first-time finish from 20 yards past the diving Walid Birrou and into the bottom corner.

Paulo Josue (Kuala Lumpur City FC)

Kuala Lumpur City FC’s second goal against Công An Hà Nội started with Zhafri Yahya robbing opposition wing-back Jason Pendant of the ball and playing through Jovan Motika on the right. Motika got past defender Hugo Gomes before floating a cross towards the far post where captain Paulo Josue planted a looping header over Filip Nguyen to give the Malaysians a 2-1 lead.
