Matchday Two of the ASEAN Club Championship Shopee Cup™ turned out to be an absolute goal-fest with 27 goals scored across six matches.

Both groups have started to take shape with several players producing important moments to influence the outcome of their respective matches.

Following the conclusion of Matchday Two, ASEAN United FC picks six of the best strikes that were scored in the latest round of fixtures. Cast your vote for your favourite at the foot of the article!

Leo Artur - Công An Hà Nội FC

Công An Hà Nội FC registered back-to-back wins to sit at the top of Group B with Leo Artur stealing the headlines with a hat-trick against Lion City Sailors FC. His second goal in particular was superb, where the Brazilian took two touches to take the ball out of his feet and then rifled an unstoppable strike from distance which left even his head coach Alexandré Pölking in total disbelief.

Raniel Santana - BG Pathum United

From one Brazilian forward to another, it was Raniel Santana’s goal which set BG Pathum United on their way to their first victory in the competition. The 28-year-old took a sweet first touch with his chest to control a long ball played forward before a clinical arrowed finish into the bottom corner that brought the smiles out in Pathum Thani.

Pablo - PKR Svay Rieng FC

Pablo continued his hot streak of scoring in the Shopee Cup, with yet another quality strike that levelled scores between Svay Rieng and BG Pathum United in the 61st minute. The Svay Rieng frontman nutmegged his opponent and found himself in a very narrow angle but still managed to squeeze the ball off the base of the goalpost, in a display of precise finishing.

Manny Ott - Terengganu FC

Terengganu FC were at their very best in the first half, producing a scintillating team goal against Đông Á Thanh Hóa FC for their second of the night. Akhyar Rashid and Azam Azmi were involved with the latter cutting the ball back towards the centre of the box where Philippines midfielder Manny Ott arrived with a thunderous first-time effort into the roof of the net.

Abdul Rahman - PSM Makassar

Abdul Rahman signed for PSM Makassar at the start of this season and the young winger made a telling impact off the bench against Shan United FC. After a misplaced back pass, Victor Luiz latched onto it and delivered a low floating cross into the box which Rahman met with his head for a dramatic 91st-minute winner.

Brendan Gan - Kuala Lumpur City FC

In a closely contested match between hosts Kuala Lumpur City FC and Borneo FC Samarinda, substitute Zhafri Yahya’s mesmerising close control saw him beat two defenders and put the perfect weight on the cut-back to Brendan Gan who unleashed a controlled first-time strike into the net with his 77th minute goal turning out to be the winner.
