ASEAN NATIONAL TEAMS TO LEARN FATE FOR HYUNDAI CUP 2026 AT OFFICIAL DRAW ON JANUARY 15 IN JAKARTA

The ASEAN Championship, the jewel in the crown for Southeast Asia’s national teams and now named the ASEAN Hyundai Cup™ 2026 after its new title partner, will celebrate its 30th anniversary next year when the region’s 11 national teams face off for the coveted title of Champions of ASEAN from July 24 to August 26, 2026.

At the Official Draw to be held on January 15 at Studio RCTI+ in Jakarta at 11:00 (local) / 04:00 (GMT), Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam will be drawn into two groups for the group stage.

Brunei Darussalam and Timor Leste, who will face off in a Qualifying Round for the 10th place in the competition, will be drawn to determine the host of each home-and-away match.  

The 2024 edition, which culminated with Vietnam being crowned kings of ASEAN following a 5-3 aggregate victory over Thailand in the final, achieved a record 541+ million viewers on television and digital streaming platforms while social media channels Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and X registered nearly 13 billion views of event-related videos.

The Hyundai Cup™ 2026 Official Draw will be broadcast live, with the list of broadcasters to be announced at a later date.
