Phú Thọ: Indonesia and Cambodia ended their ASEAN Women’s MSIG Serenity Cup™ 2025 campaigns with a point each after the two sides played out a 1-1 draw in a Group A encounter at Việt Trì Stadium on Tuesday.

Hok Saody headed Cambodia ahead in the 76th minute but a fine individual effort by Rosdilah Nurrohmah five minutes later earned Indonesia a share of the spoils.

Cambodia finished ahead of Indonesia in third place in the group on goal difference but both will miss out on the semi-finals following their earlier losses to Vietnam and Thailand.

Estella Loupattij had an early opening for Indonesia when she made a burst down the left flank after 15 minutes but sent her effort straight at goalkeeper Chen Soveat.

Just after the half-hour mark, a poor back pass by Cambodia captain Hear Sreilas presented the ball to Isa Warps, who ran clear on goal but was unable to generate enough power on her shot which was easily saved by Soveat.

Cambodia’s best opportunity of the opening half fell to Heng Sovanmony, who was picked out by Saody’s deep cross in the 37th minute but saw her shot blocked by Rihla Nuer Aulia.

Saody came within inches of putting her side in front on the hour mark when her corner from the left struck the top of the cross bar.

However, she would break the deadlock in the 76th minute when an excellent cross from the left by Sovanmony picked her out in the six-yard box and she guided a diving header past goalkeeper Indri Yulianti.

Indonesia got back on level terms five minutes later after an excellent solo effort by Rosdilah.

She received the ball in the middle of the Cambodian half and made a surging run past three defenders before sliding a right-footed shot past Soveat into the bottom corner to rescue a draw for her team.
